Music and Art Camp

One of our most popular camps, students will explore STEAM-based projects in this sensory-filled week! Art will include watercolor and acrylic painting, clay, eco-friendly sculpture, and more. Music will include interactive songs and movement, plus self-driven musical expression. Outdoor play will be encouraged as we incorporate the natural world into our week.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp
Full Day Session:

Ages 8 and up

FULL DAY CAMP – A great introduction to guitar, bass, drums and piano, spend your mornings exploring instruments, basic theory, music composition, and lyric writing with Josh. You will learn the structure around band development and create original music with other students, recording your pieces at the end of the week. In the afternoon, Tara will focus on band branding, logo development, advertisement, and the visual arts of promoting a band. This unique experience is brought to us through Musik Makers. No previous experience required.

Slime and Innovation Camp
Session 1: July 8 – July 12: AM

Do you have a child who is sensory-driven and loves to build? Spend the week on sensory overload with slime and innovation. This program offered by Make Art LA focuses on helping students ages 5 and up to discover the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) through hands-on experiments and student-led projects. Students will learn about chemical interactions needed to create slime and design some pretty creative contraptions our of recycled materials and old material. There’s no end to what their imagination can create!
Introduction to Illustration
Session 1: July 15 – July 19: AM

Ages 7 and up

Does your child love to doodle? Do you want them to explore their creativity though character and story development? This is the camp for them. This student-led camp, guided by Tara, will help kids develop and expand their cartooning skills using their individual ideas. Mediums will include pencil, pen, watercolor, and more. No prior experience is needed.

Bob Ross for Kids
Session 1: July 22 – July 26: AM
Ages 5 to 9
Session 2: July 22 – July 26: PM
Ages 10 and up
$260 per student
(Includes $50 kits)
Spend a few hours learning how to paint like Bob Ross from a certified Bob Ross Instructor. Kids will use acrylic paint to create one piece a day in the Bob Ross style. Additional activities are incorporated throughout the week.
Supply Kits included with tuition but are yours to keep!

An introductory studio illustration and painting camp, Tara will focus on pencil, pen, watercolor, and acrylic techniques. The works created during this camp will utilize subjects from observation and imagination, applying design and composition principles to enhance individual creative concepts.
No prior experience needed.

Crafting Craziness

New this year, join us for a full week of Arts and Crafts. Laurie from Make Art/LA will bring her arsenal of supplies to create fun and whimsical projects. Perfect for kids who love to tinker, nothing is off limits when it comes to your own experimentation and creativity. Projects will include suncatchers, art weaving, clay, and so much more!
