Explore different types of mediums in the STEAM-based art class. Classes are teacher driven with a touch of personality from each student. Multiple projects will be completed in illustration, painting, clay, paper, crafting and more. Children from 5 to 7 are welcome!

Classes run on a month-to-month 4-week basis.

Pricing: $88 per 4 week session

This weekly Kids Classes allow kids to fully learn the process of pottery and provide a chance for them to be creative in a unique way. The class will consist of learning how to hand-build pieces, add decorations, handles, glazing, and more.

A minimum of 4 kids required. There is a 4-week waiting period so the clay can dry and be fired. This class will provide the kids with everything they need in order to create their own hand-built piece of pottery. Final projects can be picked up at that time.

They will receive the clay, be able to use the glazes, and we’ll take care of the firings for them.

Classes start January 13th

Yes, you can! Beginning students will learn everything they need to know to start crocheting, including how to hold the crochet hook, the importance of gauge to determine what hook goes with what yarn, identifying the information on the yarn packaging, and how to read a crochet pattern. Students will become familiar with all of the main stitches while making projects such as a gift card cozy, hand-warmers, a hat, and a project of their choice, and will learn several finishing techniques to take their projects from homemade to handmade.

Skill level: No prior experience required

Materials: Crochet hook (5.00 mm or US size H) plus one skein of worsted weight yarn (also called medium weight or #4) in a light color (examples include Lion Brand Wool-Ease, Red Heart Comfort, Premier Yarns Everyday, Patons Classic Wool, Loops and Thread Impeccable, Lily’s Sugar ’n’ Cream).
